Things you will be able to take away from this newsletter:

  • How to capture a shop interior space

  • How to tell a visual story

  • How to quickly edit photos from a photoshoot.

  • How to add your “flare” to a visual story

  • How to take portraits on the go

In this newsletter, I’ll invite you in to one of the photoshoot sessions, I recently created for a private workshop participant.

Let’s begin with, this has been a long time in the making.

It has been, and continue to be, an incredibly challenging time, that has impacted greatly how I work and live, and I can only but apologise that the past few months, this newsletter has been quite irregular.

You have all been so incredibly graceful, and patient with me in getting them out to you, and for that I’m so very grateful, it truly means the world, and so much more than any of you will ever know.

Thank you so much.

Sometimes there’s not much more I can say about what one is going through, but I just want you to know that your actions of staying, when I didn’t deliver as promised, has meant everything.

Now, let’s move forward and upward;)

This will still be a weekly newsletter, aiming at getting it out to you every Monday.

Some newsletters will be more in depth, and some will be shorter tips. I’m very much working on the podcast side of things too, so there’s much to look forward too.

I just launched a new one day summer workshop here in the English countryside called, Portrait of a Garden, and I think you are going to love it!

You can book your spot here.

I work with private clients in creating bespoke workshops for individuals who are looking for everything from enhancing their career as a photographer, building a career, or simply want to take “better” photos, or learn how to tell stronger visual stories. And for one of my recent private workshops I filled two days around my clients wish to focus of visual storytelling and photoshoots.

One of the shoots I set up was with a local wine merchant, I’ve known since I first moved here to the English countryside. They poured the wine, and we went to work.
