There’s a book and a movie by that name, “A room with a view”, that I’m sure so many of you have read, or seen.

I spotted a copy of it underneath a pile of old pre-loved books, at a local shop for homeless books.

I already have a copy, but I just couldn't resist buying another.

Have you ever done that?

I have a few books that I love and buy wherever I spot a copy.

Sometimes I keep both, placed in different bags or bookshelves, and then there’s the time when you need a gift for a friend, and one of those books beacon from a shelf.

This time though, it was days before my Photography workshop in Florence, and I wanted to gift one of you a copy, a little something from me to you, on a grey day in England, but sent with love from Florence.

So it came home with me.
