But first…
Today, I’m writing to you from beautiful and sunny Florence.After a back to back three day book shoot for a client in Norway, I hopped on an early flight down to Florence for Pitti, men’s fashion week, to work, but also, to breath in one of my favourite cities. But, things don’t always go according to plan, so instead of skipping on cobbled stoned streets, I’ve been sick as a dog in bed. Which is why this newsletter is delayed. I’m currently looking up at the most glorious ceiling mural in the old palazzo I’m staying at, while I’m writing to you. It’s so beautiful it instantly lifts your spirit.
It’s a bit like home away from home staying here, at Palazzo Guadagni. Filled to the brim with mood and atmosphere, old school atmosphere.
Which brings me to London, on a moody day in September a few years ago, to a shoot for a small men’s wear brand that had just started up.
I often get asked how to set up photoshoots, and how to plan for it, so I thought it would be worth sharing with you a little peek into one shoot and how I went about it from first email, to finished product.
